The research life cycle preservation stage covers:

cIRcle: UBC’s Institutional Repository

cIRcle is UBC’s institutional repository for research and teaching materials created by the UBC community and its partners. Materials in cIRcle are openly accessible to anyone on the web, and will be preserved for future generations.

For more information or a one-on-one consultation about depositing publications, presentations, other types of scholarly work, and teaching materials in cIRcle, please contact:

Research Data Preservation

Providing long-term access to research data involves special procedures, maintenance, and storage.

All items in cIRcle, UBC’s institutional repository, and in UBC Library Open Collections are preserved in the UBC Archivematica system. Abacus Dataverse integration with Archivematica is coming online in early 2016.

For more information, or help with preparing your data for long-term preservation, please contact your subject librarian or:
